Telesales Training That Replaces Scripts With a Six-Step Objection Process
Customer Focused Conversations®
Objections and Complaints
Your reps face 30+ objections a day. Without a structured process, they default to capitulation or argument. Both destroy trust. revenueify teaches the Six-Step Objection Process so your team protects the relationship and advances the conversation on every call.
Your reps face an objection in the first 30 seconds of every call.
Without a structured process, reps default to capitulation or argument. Both destroy trust. The four scenarios below are what telesales teams hear every day.
"Send me some info."
The polite blow-off. Reps treat it like a real request, send the info, and never hear back. The customer was actually saying "I do not trust you yet."
"We already have that."
Reps accept it at face value. They never clarify which capability the customer means, or how well the current vendor is actually solving it. The conversation ends before discovery starts.
"Now is not a good time."
Reps reschedule politely. The follow-up call gets the same objection. The team decides this prospect is dead. The prospect was actually waiting to be asked one clarifying question.
"Your price is too high."
Reps either capitulate (discount) or argue (defend). Both are wrong. Most price objections are Soft, not Hard. Until the rep can name which one this is, neither response works.
Scripts cannot fix this.
A structured behavioral process can.
The reason your reps freeze on objections is not because they lack the right line. It is because they lack a repeatable process for what to do when an objection lands.
Outcome-Based Selling, sometimes called Consultative Selling or Outcome-Focused Selling, is the foundation underneath Customer Focused Conversations®. The goal is not to overcome the objection. The goal is to use the objection as a signal that advances the conversation toward an outcome the customer also wants.
Most telesales programs hand reps a script and a closing technique. revenueify hands them the Six-Step Objection Process and the behavioral science to recognize which objections are real (Hard) and which are trust signals in disguise (Soft). The same outcome-focused posture that works in a 60-minute discovery meeting works in a 4-minute objection exchange.
Telesales Training is Module 4 of the Customer Focused Conversations® program. Module 1 teaches reps to read their own and the customer's DiSC® style on the phone. Module 2 builds trust through behavioral adaptation. Module 3 sharpens questioning with F.I.N.D.®. Module 4 -- the focus of this page -- is the structured objection process below.
Customer Focused Conversations® Objections and Complaints
The Six-Step Objection Process
A repeatable, behavioral process for handling any objection on any call. The goal is not to win the objection. The goal is to advance the conversation toward an outcome the customer also wants.
Listen
Listen to the entire objection. What is it about? What are the issues? What is the customer saying? What is NOT being said? What is the emotional level?
Do not interrupt. Do not pre-load a rebuttal. Let the objection finish.
Analyze
Analyze the type of objection and the right response. Is it Hard or Soft? Valid or invalid? Easy or difficult to answer? What caused it?
Most "send me info" objections are Soft. Most "we do not have budget" objections need clarification before you can call them Hard.
Support
Support the customer's right to the objection. Acknowledge it. Reduce tension. Recognize their right to feel that way. Avoid immediate rebuttal.
"That makes sense. Plenty of teams in your position are wrestling with the same thing right now."
Clarify
Clarify the specifics and their importance. Gather additional information. Probe for misunderstanding. Surface all issues on the table.
"When you say 'we already have that,' help me understand which capability specifically. Is it the X piece or the Y piece?"
Respond
Respond with a simple explanation or a reframe. Offer proof. Update incorrect data. Open their mind to larger issues. Change perspective via the Analogy Reframe or the Big Picture Reframe.
Never start with "but" or "actually." Always start with a Supporting Statement before the reframe.
Verify
Verify you have successfully dealt with the objection. Or go back to step 3 and try again. Has the customer accepted? Do they agree?
"Does that address what you raised? Or is there still something I have not addressed?"
Most objections are not what reps think they are.
Customer Focused Conversations® teaches a two-part taxonomy that changes how a rep responds before they say a word.
Hard Objections
Tangible. Easy to identify. Harder to resolve. Real product or pricing issues.
Examples: "Your price is too high." "We do not have budget." "Your product does not have feature X." "We had a bad experience last time."
What unlocks them: Direct response, reframing, or escalation. Sometimes you cannot resolve them and the right answer is to disqualify.
Soft Objections
Intangible. Harder to identify. Easier to resolve once surfaced. Trust, credibility, or perception issues.
Examples: "Let me think about it." "I will need to talk to my partner." "Send me some info." "We are not really in a hurry."
What unlocks them: The Six-Step Process. Soft objections are usually the customer saying "I do not trust you yet."
Two reframing techniques the program teaches
Both reframes share one rule. Never start with "but" or "actually." Always start with a Supporting Statement.
The Analogy Reframe
When the customer cannot see the value from inside their current perspective, draw an analogy from a context they DO understand, then bridge back to your offering.
"Suppose your daughter's company was using a 3-year-old word processor..." then bridge to your update cadence.
The Big Picture Reframe
When the customer is fixated on a narrow concern, broaden the conversation to the larger picture of value you deliver across the relationship.
"Let us talk about what we provide -- good products, good support, and people who listen and respond."

Quarterly. Virtual. Low cost. The fastest way to see how revenueify teaches phone-based objection handling before committing to a full team engagement.
Your reps practice the Six-Step Process every day,
not just at the workshop.
Telesales reps live on the phone. Skills fade fast without daily reinforcement. The revenueify AI Coaching Platform turns the Six-Step Objection Process into a daily rehearsal partner customized to your team's actual customers.
AI Coaching is fed by the A.I.M. Assessment data we collect at the start of every engagement. The scenarios reflect your industry, your buyer roles, your real objection library. Reps practice with realistic Hard and Soft objections between live calls. Managers see daily practice data, skill progression, and gaps before they cost a deal.
A.I.M. data feed
Every engagement starts with the A.I.M. Assessment. The data feeds directly into AI Coaching so practice scenarios reflect your industry's actual buyer dynamics, not a generic stock library.
Customized objection library
Your team's real Hard and Soft objections become the practice library. AI plays the customer; reps practice the Six-Step Process. Both sides feel real because they are.
Daily reinforcement
Workshops fade in 90 days. Daily practice between calls keeps the process active. Reps run a 5-minute scenario before their first call, after their last call, or when they get stuck mid-day.
Manager visibility
Managers see who practices, where each rep is strong (Listen, Analyze) and where they stall (Clarify, Verify). Gaps surface in the dashboard before they cost a deal on a live call.
Why telesales teams choose revenueify
Four reasons VPs of Sales pick this program over generic phone-sales training catalogs.
01 All RevOps integration
revenueify is the only firm that integrates training, outsourced sales management, and recruiting under one system. If your team has a structural gap, we identify it during the engagement instead of selling around it.
02 Industry-specific objection libraries
SaaS price objections look nothing like distribution credit objections. Same six steps, different objections. We build a customer-specific objection library during the engagement, not from a generic deck.
03 Behavioral science as foundation
Everything DiSC® and PXT Select underpin the program. Reps learn to read customer style on the phone in 30 seconds and adapt the Six-Step Process to fit. Scripts cannot do that.
04 Outcome-based, not transaction-based
Script-based competitors teach reps to "overcome" objections. We teach them to use objections as signals that advance the conversation toward an outcome the customer also wants. Customer Lifetime Value depends on it.
